Introducing BIO-Wheel's new platform of aquarium power filters with design improvements that make the filters more powerful than previous BIO-Wheel power filter models. The enhanced power filters increase the certified flow rates (for models 150-350) to provide better oxygenation of water and improved BIO-Wheel rotation. The new models include a bigger BIO-Wheel; each wheel in this new line is between 34%-52% larger than previous BIO-Wheel power filter models. The larger wheel size has an improved flow path and ensures healthier water filtration. Additional enhancements include a new mold design that dramatically reduces "splashing" water noise, while still maintaining optimum oxygenation of water; the filters also contain a flip-top lid for easier cartridge access, eliminating the need to remove the filter cover when making cartridge changes.

BIO-Wheel power filters can be used for freshwater and marine aquariums. The power filters offer mechanical, chemical, and biological filtration; eliminating toxic ammonia and nitrite on contact. No pumps, valves, or tubing are required. Never clogs and never needs replacing. Each power filter comes with a Penguin® filter cartridge filled with premium activated carbon. The improved BIO-Wheel power filters utilize current, upgraded Marineland Rite-Size cartridges.
